Between classes

A short session for a short gap.

Twenty minutes seated, or thirty on the table, for the hour between a lecture and a lab or two meetings.

The seated session is done in a massage chair, fully clothed, with no oil, so you can walk back out and go straight to your next class. The 30-minute table session is the same work for the neck, shoulders and upper back, covered by a sheet.

  • Seated: 20 minutes, clothed, no oil

  • On the table: 30 minutes, covered by a sheet

  • Evenings until 9, Monday to Thursday

The session

What happens, step by step

  1. 01

    Step 1: Say where

The neck, the shoulders, the arms. One short sentence is enough.

  2. 02

    Step 2: Settle in

Sit in the chair, or lie on the table under a sheet. Your therapist tells you what happens next.

  3. 03

    Step 3: The session

Twenty or thirty minutes of steady work at the pressure you choose. Tell us lighter or firmer any time.

Before you come

Pressure, covering and what to wear

  • You set the pressure

Light, medium, firm or deep. We check at the start and again partway through.

  • Seated is clothed

No oil and nothing to take off. On the table you are covered by a sheet, with one area uncovered at a time.

  • When to ask your doctor

If you are pregnant or unsure about a health condition, ask your doctor before booking.

  • What to wear

Whatever you will be comfortable walking out in. A hoodie is fine, and so is a work shirt.

A few questions

How early should I arrive?

A few minutes early. If you are late, we shorten the session so the next visit still starts on time.

Can I do the seated session in my work clothes?

Yes, that is what it is for. Nothing comes off and no oil is used.

Can I add time?

Yes. Ask your therapist, and when the next visit allows it they add 15 minutes.
