Your first visit

What to say when you arrive

You do not need the right words. Three short ones are enough.

  • Say where

The neck, the calves, the shoulders. Your therapist starts there and works outward from it.

  • Say how firm

Light, medium, firm or deep, in your own words. You can change it at any moment.

  • Say what to skip

Any area, for any reason, with no explaining. And you can stop whenever you like.

The studio

Three rooms, three therapists, one steady schedule.

Limestone is a small studio on South Walnut Street. Each room has a made-up table, and one corner has the chair for the short seated sessions.

Book with the therapist you like, or take the first time that fits. Your therapist comes to the front room to get you, and the pressure is yours to set.

Good to know

Questions before you book

How long is a session?

From 20 minutes, seated, to 90 minutes on the table. Most first visits are 60 minutes. The menu lists every length.

What is the seated session?

A 20-minute session in a massage chair, fully clothed and with no oil, for the neck, shoulders, back and arms. It fits between two classes or two meetings.

What do I wear?

Whatever is comfortable to arrive and leave in. On the table, undress only as far as you like and keep on whatever you want; you are covered by a sheet the whole time. Seated sessions are done clothed.

Am I covered the whole time?

Yes. Only the part we are working on is uncovered, and it is covered again when we move on.

Can I stop?

Yes, at any time and for any reason. You can pause, change position or end the session, and we stop right away.

How do I set the pressure?

Tell us where you want the work and how firm: light, medium, firm or deep. We check again partway through, and you can change it whenever you like.

What should I say at a first visit?

Say where you want the work, how firm, and any area to skip. The first-visit page lists the words people use.

What if I am ill or pregnant?

If you are unwell, tell us and we will move your visit. If you are pregnant or unsure about a health condition, ask your doctor before booking.
